Can’t make it to a live regional event?

Troupes, Crews& School Groups that would love to enter DanceLife Unite but are either located too far from one of our live event locations, are unable complete routines in time, or have other exceptional circumstances may enter and compete for adjudication, prizes and National qualification via our Online Program. This online program is also open to International Troupe & Crew competitors.

I’ve already registered my entries and forgot a routine.

Please log on to the website at www.dancelifeunite.com.au and complete an additional entry form with payment.

How do I make changes to the entries I’ve sent?

Email your changes to entries@dancelifeunite.com.au. Changes can be made up to 6 weeks prior to Live Events only. You will receive written confirmation for all changes made.

How do you accept music for live events?

We only accept CD’s. All routines must be on separate CD’s with it labelled clearly (studio name, section and competitor number). Please also include your AMCOS number.

When will I get a time frame for my routines?

DanceLife Unite will email you a copy of your act numbers and schedule approximately 4 weeks prior to the competition. If you do not receive a copy via email please contact our office on 0416 250974 or on 0419 436024 or email entries@dancelifeunite.com.au. It’s your responsibility to know when you are performing.

When do I get a program?

Pre-ordered programs will be posted to you two weeks before your entered Live Event. There will also be programs available for purchase during the event.

How many acts can I enter?

Live Regionals & Online Heats for TROUPES: There is a limit of two routines per section per studio at Regional and Online Troupe & Crew Events. If you have an extra routine our suggestion would be to place this in the Entertainment Section. Solo, Duo/Trio and Vocal entrants may enter as many sections within their age group as they would like for the Online Heats. Model contestants can enter themselves only once per season.

DanceLife Unite National Final: Troupes & Crews may enter twice per category in each age group with qualified routines. Studios may now also enter 1 extra UNQUALIFIED routine for every 5 QUALIFIED ROUTINES they have competed with throughout our Live and Online Heats this season. Soloists may enter all sections available within their age category at Nationals that they have qualified in. Duo & Trio competitors may enter one qualified routine.

How Do I Know That My Entry Has Been Received?

Your PayPal receipt is your proof of purchase. Please ensure your registered PayPal email address is your preferred correspondence address. If you would prefer a different correspondence email address, please indicate this address in the ‘Note to Seller’ section of the PayPal order.

If I Can’t Turn Up For My Event Can I Get A Refund?

Unfortunately entry fees are Non Refundable unless the event is cancelled.

What Happens If I Am Late For The Start Of My Live Event?

Unfortunately if you are late for the start of your section, you can perform at the end of the section for judges’ comments only.

My Item Is Over The Time Allowed. What Will Happen If I Go Over Time?

The time limits must be strictly adhered to. A 5-point deduction will apply to any act that runs more than 5 seconds overtime. If you are more than 10 seconds over the time limit, you will receive judges’ comments only.

I Can’t Stay Till The End Of The Competition. How Will I Know Who Won?

Results will be posted on the website at www.dancelifeunite.com.au.
